Fabulously nerdy and liberating??! I can die happy now 😍😂 thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed. My son is learning about persistance and grit via video games as well. Kudos to you!
Beautiful, Camilla. Also, I watched The Little Mermaid for the first time when I was 14 and remember being actively pissed that my siblings who is six years younger got to to watch it at the same time (I waited HARD for this privilege, you little twerp! 😂).
Huh, fascinating! I quick googled Alan Wake II, as I'd never heard of it. And yes, I would agree it looks a bit different from Super Mario Wonder haha!
I only recently started playing games, Baldur's Gate was one of the first "real" ones I played and it quickly got overwhelming 🤣 So I stepped away to build up some confidence. I finished playing Return to Moria (AMAZING) and I just started "New World: Aeternum" (also really good, but too early to tell)
I also enjoy a good binge play of Slime Rancher or Cat Quest just to keep things light 🤣
Thanks for taking the plunge and voting! It may not have been the outcome we wanted, but participating is always worthwhile. I've always voted, but I put a ton of pressure on my choices being "right." I'm finally realizing that, although it's important in aggregate, my one vote is unlikely to make or break any race or issue, so I just make the best calls I can and then let the rest of the process do what it will do.... To many years of voting ahead! ✅💥
What a fabulously nerdy and liberating post.
"My actions have ZERO consequences after I turn the console off."
I try to teach my son this while we game regarding sportsmanship and losing. Good post, now get back to Dark Souls

Oh that is totally not fair! (spoken as a youngest child who received many of the same privileges my sisters would deem equally unfair haha 😂)
As an anxious person and gamer, I cannot even begin to explain how much I love this.
Thank you for sharing.
Aahhhh I knew you were a kindred spirit!! Thanks for commenting. Now I have to ask, what games do you play? 😂
Just finished my second play through of Alan Wake II, which is a work of genius.
Got Super Mario Wonder on the go as well. Which is… very different from Alan Wake 🤣
Room for any more games or are you just neck deep in Baldur’s Gate?

There is definitely value in those little light hearted palette cleanser games.
As a side note, this is my first presidential election also. Glad to finally be able to vote. 🙂
Congratulations!!
